About Us

In case you were wondering, Blackberry Creative started out as a partnership between Sandy Robson and Po Wan. We worked together for over 20 years, with a shared appreciation of great design and the design process. We built a business based on trust, and a handshake. Well, it was probably a hug if you must know. We trusted each to work to the best of our abilities, to come up with thoughtful and creative ideas, for every client that came our way. When the project dictated, we brought others on: Cliff for video and photography, Sean and Dirk for other photos, one or two web developers before we found Nathan, several writers to work on Passions (the magazine) and there were others too. Then, a few years ago, Sandy retired and Po stayed on, doing her best to deliver the creative work Blackberry Creative has been known for, since 1999. On occasion, Po still reaches out and Sandy answers her call to work on a project… just a few each year and only if she can be torn away from her garden, and her pots of paints. That’s why Blackberry Creative is still an ‘us’. We just can’t shake the partnership.
